Week Sixty Seven

We started our All about me month curriculum this month. We use Mother Goose Time which we love for so many reasons. This curriculum hits all the age appropriate skills with a step by step curated box for the whole month. It starts with an overarching theme for the month, broken down into categories for each week and then sub categories each day. Along with our fabulous Mother Goose Time curriculum we incorporate The little spot of feelings curriculum which does a fabulous job covering the social emotional category. Aside from "all about me" we are also learning about color brown, the letters A & B, the numbers 1 & 2 and the feeling Kindness this month. This last week the kids drew a self portrait and we learned about body parts. They got to look at themselves in the mirror and see similarities and differences of those in our class. We talked about skin color and melanin and shared a little about diversity. Here is a highlight of our week!
