These are the many faces who make up Kiddie City. From our executive team, management and teachers! Our team is made up of individuals ranging in age from 15- 65 and some who live in Washington across the water, one who works from home in Wyoming and some who come in from The Dalles each day. We are so lucky to have people from all backgrounds and walks of life to enrich the lives of the children we care for.

Did you know.....

1. Kiddie City is a multi lingual program, with the focus on English, American Sign Language and Spanish. We have 8 Spanish speaking/ bilingual teachers on our team at Kiddie City. We have a big goal currently to use more Spanish in our every day schedule coupled with the already Spanish and sign language we share at circle time.

2. We have a parent committee at each of our facilities to ensure parent voices are heard, feedback is taken into consideration and ultimately having support in our overall program growth.

3. We have a very long list of certified baby sitters who are interested in care giving outside of working hours. If you are interested in the list please email us for all the details.

Families - please join us for our first literacy nights of the year. THis fun educational opportunity if for all families, teachers and kiddos. We are excited to have a puppet show/story time and talk about how we can increase story time at home while keeping it fun and exciting for both parents and kiddos!

Congratulations to our Parkdale EOM — Miss Noemi! 🎉

Noemi, we are so proud of you for stepping into the Preschool Lead role and doing it with such confidence and ease. Leadership isn’t always easy, but you make it look natural.

You are truly one of the most patient people I know. No matter how busy or chaotic the day may get, you have this incredible ability to bring calm to the room. Your steady presence makes such a difference for your team and your students.

You lead with love in your everyday interactions, and it shows. The children feel safe and supported with you, and parents can genuinely feel the care and heart you pour into your classroom. That kind of leadership cannot be taught — it comes from who you are.

We appreciate your kindness, your willingness to keep learning, and your commitment to growing in your position. You are doing amazing things, and we are so grateful to have you leading in Parkdale.

March Hood River - Miss Christina

Huge congratulations to our February Hood River EOM — Miss Christina! 🎉

This marks Christina’s third time being part of the Kiddie City family, and we truly could not be more grateful that she chose to come back home to us. That kind of loyalty says so much — and we don’t take it for granted.

Christina is the definition of dependable. She is an incredible multitasker, a true team player, and one of the hardest workers in the building. Whether she’s supporting behind the scenes or stepping in to confidently lead as “the teacher” for the day, she does it with creativity, flexibility, and heart. She has a natural ability to see what needs to be done next and jump right in without hesitation — and that kind of initiative makes a huge difference for our team and our kids.

Christina, thank you for always going where you’re needed, for anticipating the needs of others, and for being someone we can count on.
