126 - Space

Summer is in full swing, and July was absolutely bursting with excitement as we dove headfirst into one of our favorite curriculum themes—Space! There's just something magical about exploring the stars, planets, and everything in between, and our classrooms came alive with cosmic curiosity.

This summer, we've had the joy of welcoming some of our big kids into the mix, which has added a whole new dynamic to our Sun and Moon classes. Their energy, imagination, and questions have taken our space adventures to the next level!

We even managed to squeeze in a special field trip to a blueberry patch with our Hood River Moon Room kids. It was the perfect blend of nature and summer fun—sunshine, sticky fingers, and lots of giggles. 🍇💙

And of course, July wouldn’t be complete without a little patriotic flair! We celebrated the 4th in style with bursts of red, white, and blue, bringing the festive spirit right into our classrooms.

One of the most memorable parts of our space theme is always the creativity it inspires—from rocket ships and moon rocks to planets and stars. In past years, our amazing teachers have even transformed their classrooms into full-on galaxies, draping black curtains over the walls to mimic the night sky. It's always such a treat to watch their imaginations soar—and our little learners follow right along with them!

Here's to more sun-soaked days, starry-eyed learning, and memories that are truly out of this world! 🌌✨s.
