123 - Growing Gardens

May was a whirlwind of activity and celebration here at our community. We started the month with a special Teacher In-Service Day on Cinco de Mayo, which coincided with the kickoff of Teacher Appreciation Week. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who helped make this week so memorable by showing our staff love and gratitude — your kindness truly made everyone feel appreciated!

Throughout the month, we kept busy with heartfelt projects and exciting events. Our students crafted meaningful Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gifts, and we filled backpacks with goodies from Play and Learn for our preschool Promise kids, who are soon graduating. We also watched with wonder as our caterpillars hatched into beautiful butterflies — a magical experience for our little learners!

Looking ahead, we’re preparing for our big end-of-year celebration at the beginning of June, where we’ll reflect on a fantastic year. We’re also thrilled to announce the Ribbon Cutting at our new Cascade Locks Facility and to celebrate a special milestone — today marks the 3rd anniversary of our first location in Parkdale!

May has truly been a month filled with love, celebration, and happiness. As we approach the close of the school year in June, we’re excited to kick off summer activities and create even more wonderful memories. Here’s to an amazing month and an even brighter summer ahead!
