Bye bye 2024! What a fabulous year and an even better December. This month we learned about the color red, the numbers 7 and 8, the letters G and H, being Brave and Winter Wonderland was our theme. In the first week of December we learned about snow and ice and there just so happened to be snow on the ground. We also had our annual Photos with Santa event and our Cookie Decorating event at the Hood River facility. Thank you to everyone who came!
Our photos with Santa event is a big charity event we sponsor each year and this year we ended up raising $2300 for Mid Columbia Community Action Council. This year for our cookie decorating event we changed things up and had children come, in years past this event was for parents and teachers but I've got to say it was much more fun with all the kids around.
In the second week of December we learned about Arctic animals. In the third week we learned about winter clothes. In the last short week of the month we learned about Holidays around the world with a main focus on Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Every year around the holidays we do something throughout all facilities for a sweet take home for our families. This year we had Kiddie City wooden ornaments made by one of our past Employees Miss Christina. Thank you Christina they turned out fabulous! We also made Kiddie City sweater ornaments. All the children colored their own sweater, we printed out a photo of their head and turned it into a sweet keep sake to hang on your christmas tree or mantel.
We finished the month out treating our staff to our Holiday Party at Tilly Janes! A big congrats to our Employee of the Year, Miss Alicia!!! Congrats to our Peoples Choice award winner Miss Ariana, Our Rising Star award winner Miss Makenzie and our Driving Success award winner Miss Zoe Linder!
What a beautiful year 2024 was, Cheers 2025, were ready for you!
