117 - Down On The Farm

November was all about Down on the Farm. In the first week, we learned about the celebration of Dia De Los Muertos. We learned about animals on the farm, what are things found in the barn, farm foods and the many parts of farming. We learned about the color green, the Numbers 5 & 6, the Letter E & F and the feeling/action Honesty. We (the staff) had our last teacher in service day of the year. Why is so hard to believe its already November!? This year has flown by!

The first week of this month we shared the celebration of Dia De Los Muertos with our KC families. The children learned about the tradition and what is celebrated. We decorated our own Ofrendas at each location and invited the staff and children to bring photos of loved ones who have passed.
