115 - All about me

Happy September! This month is the start of our school year and so exciting because we welcome in new faces. All about me month is so fun because we get to do self portraits, learn about our bodies and learn about the 5 senses! Most of our classrooms talked about hygiene and taking care of our bodies like washing out hands, covering our mouth and brushing our teeth. Katie, Junah and Colton's mom from Parkdale came out to both facilities to share with our preschools about how important taking care of your teeth is! They all got a little goodie to go home with! Miss Sam got rambunctious and played a game all about moving your body parts and dancing. Miss Maria got creative with the toddlers and cut up their pictures, making a puzzle for the kids to put back together their portraits! Miss Joanna knocked it out of the park with her crafts this month. Along with all these fun things the kids learned about the color Brown and melanin or skin colors this month, they also learned the letter A & B, the numbers 1 & 2 and about Respectfulness!
